codecentric mittendrin

Rule Jenkins with Configuration as Code

Title: Rule Jenkins with Configuration as Code

Abstract: There are many talks about Jenkins and configuration as code. But how does this work in a real business, on a daily basis? In this session, we will see an example of how to successfully introduce the Job DSL plugin in a real life, medium-size company.

Speaker/Bio: Christian Rasp (@crasp) is a DevOps engineer for global delivery at PAYBACK GmbH. As a former software developer, he encourages and supports several development and operation teams to extend continuous integration to continuous delivery. His main focuses are Jenkins, configuration and infrastructure as code and automation of development processes.

On top, we plan to run a panel on this evening on „Continuous Delivery in Legacy and Hybrid Systems„. We are still in the planning for this and are looking for a few people who want to commit to join in as panelists and also someone who can do the moderation of this. Please let us know (comments, mail, twitter) if you would like to join in on this and if a panel like that is interesting for you.
