This remote two-day workshop equips you with all the knowledge you need to successfully form, coach and lead development teams in order to increase their productivity. Our extensive, long-time expertise with tools and methods for distributed and remote teamwork will help you gain new insights, develop competencies and provide options to act within a distributed Scrum team.

Prerequisites and target audience

This training is meant to be for everybody who currently is Scrum Master, or will become one in the near future.

For successful participation in the Zoom meetings, a good Internet connection and a headset are strongly recommended. Furthermore, access to cloud tools (including Zoom, Miro, Google Docs, Google Drive) should be permanently available without any problems.

The two-day Professional Scrum Master Training provides you with the knowledge to successfully coach Scrum teams. Different perspectives of the daily responsibilities and accountabilities in the life of a Scrum Master will be considered and taken into account. With proven knowledge we enable you to master the daily challenges of a Scrum Master.

The training contains many exercises to be able to put the newly acquired knowledge directly into practice. Participants will learn about:

Dealing with incomplete information, uncertainty and complexity in software development
Empiricism as risk control mechanism and the possibility to predict the future in complex environment
Agile in general and in relation to Scrum
Value and Intention of the elements of the Scrum Framework
Why the Scrum values are the foundation of everything
What does „done“ mean and why is it required by the necessity for transparency
Creating a Product Backlog
Importance of self-managing teams and why people skills are a must for Scrum Masters
What does it mean for a Scrum Master to be a true leader

This training will prepare participants for the PSM I assessment.
In order to take the assessment, a link will be sent to the participants after the training.
