Uli Kühn Steps Down from the Board
Uli Kühn stepped down from his board role at codecentric AG on 31 December 2022 to enter early retirement. As he had already informed employees in the summer of 2022, his previous contract with codecentric was set to expire at the end of the year. He was therefore faced with the decision of accepting the offered extension or taking a different path.
For personal reasons in particular, he chose a new path: "It was always my dream to retire in my mid-50s, and I'm now at a point where I can actually make that happen." He does not rule out returning to a consulting role after a break, but is keeping that option open for now.
Ulrich Kühn joined the board of codecentric AG in 2018, succeeding Michael Hochgürtel. Over five years, he made a significant impact particularly in the areas of sales and human resources. In mid-December, Uli Kühn said goodbye to employees with a heartfelt "Thank you" and an "Until we meet again" – as he had greatly enjoyed his time at codecentric and looks forward to staying in touch.

Tobias Knierim Becomes Managing Director of codecentric cloud
In 2017, codecentric AG founded cc cloud GmbH as a wholly owned subsidiary. Tobias Knierim has been involved in a leadership role there from the very beginning. The Solingen native has a long history with codecentric: in 2006, he joined codecentric as a student working part-time, developed into a consultant over the years, and then took over the management of codecentric cloud. He served as an authorized signatory (Prokurist) until the end of 2022. With Uli Kühn's departure, it was a natural continuation of their successful collaboration that the now-vacant position in the management team would pass to him. He has been complementing Rainer Vehns and Lars Rückemann in this role since 1 January 2023.
