Lünendonk List is a Leading Provider Ranking
The ranking lists German IT consulting service providers that are headquartered in Germany, and records the revenues and employee numbers of the companies. It thus provides a good overview of the IT market in Germany – it is regarded as a recognized market barometer. The list is compiled through a survey of 90 IT service providers and around 140 IT decision-makers from mid-sized companies as well as large enterprises and corporations.
Positive Sentiment in the IT Market
In its current press release, Lünendonk summarizes the market situation: IT service providers are generally benefiting from the pressure to digitize and transform. There was particularly high demand for IT services in 2021 in the areas of cloud transformation, IT modernization, data analytics, custom software development, and digital experience. Companies view their situation positively for the coming years. The shortage of skilled workers remains a concern. According to the study, this leads to difficulties in staffing projects and is slowing down digital transformation.
