With the hiring of 103 new employees, we are now a team of 263. Alongside our growing headcount, we made it into the kununu rankings, securing top spots as a woman-friendly and 'healthy' company. To accommodate the expanding codecentric team, we opened additional locations in 2014: Banja Luka in Bosnia, as well as satellite offices in Stuttgart and Münster.
Not only is our team growing, but our blog already recorded 1 million page impressions in August, and we have had more than 1,000 followers on Twitter since this year!
Our Softwerker subscribers also had reason to rejoice, as they were able to enjoy our magazine twice for the first time this year. At this point, we can also reveal that there will be a surprise at the beginning of 2015 for all subscribers and those who want to become one!
Alongside all the work, events outside the office were not neglected either, and so we were able to celebrate this year's summer party under the Croatian sun in Dubrovnik and were invited by one of our executive board members to the company camping trip in Muttscheid. We were also well positioned in terms of sports: some of us conquered the Rennsteig on their mountain bikes, and the runners among us took part in the Düsseldorf Marathon.
We also sponsored for the first time the extraordinary Go duel between human and computer program, and our Big Data team had already calculated the winner of the Football World Cup in advance and, of course, turned out to be right.
With this look back on an exciting year, we can head into 2015 full of joy, as we have plenty planned for the coming year as well. The starting gun is fired by the first-ever codecentric IO on March 3, 2015 in Bonn!
