New Company Headquarters
A highlight and at the same time a major milestone in our company history is the move into our brand-new company headquarters in Solingen: our new headquarters spans 4,000 square meters across 4 floors, providing space for 200 employees.
At the same time, it is already worth taking a look into the future: if we continue to grow at this pace, we will soon begin planning the second construction phase on Hochstraße.
More Locations, Bigger Team
In 2016, our team grew significantly – we hired 73 new colleagues. The Berlin and Karlsruhe locations moved into new premises in 2016, and since July, codecentric AG has been expanded to include a location in Mallorca – though this is available exclusively for team meetings or private use.
Community Engagement
We were once again very active in the community in 2016. We participated in approximately 120 community events. Our colleagues delivered exactly 100 talks at conferences, wrote 27 technical articles, hosted many webinars, and posted countless contributions on Twitter and Facebook.
We are also delighted to see rising visitor numbers on our blog this year – over 2.2 million page views and 1.15 million readers!
New Partnerships & Charitable Initiatives
In 2016, we also formed new partnerships with Mesosphere and Confluent, and were promoted to Atlassian Platinum Partner. Our colleagues also demonstrated their commitment to charitable causes on five separate occasions and proved their athletic spirit at 4 company and charity runs.

What a successful and exciting year it has been! Bring on 2017 – we look forward to establishing our planned new location in Nuremberg, to organizing many community events with you, and of course to meeting many more great applicants!
