Girls'Day and Boys'Day 2025: codecentric opens doors for young talent
On April 3, 2025, there was a lot going on at six of our locations: codecentric hosted the Girls'Day and, for the first time in Solingen, also organized a Boys'Day. While middle school girls at Girls'Day had the opportunity to get a taste of the daily work of female software developers and dive into traditionally male-dominated fields such as programming, robotics, and 3D printing, boys at Boys'Day in Solingen gained exciting insights into marketing and sales – areas often considered "female."
Both events were met with great interest and enthusiasm from participants. With these initiatives, codecentric continues to actively advocate for greater diversity and equal opportunities in the IT industry and the workplace.

codecentric Engages in NEGZ to advance digitalization of public administration
In 2025, codecentric joined the "NEGZ Competence Network Digital Administration" to actively help shape the digitalization of public administration in Germany. Within the network, codecentric has initiated two new working groups on the topics of Artificial Intelligence and IT Security in public administration. The goal is to develop practice-oriented solutions together with partners from government, business, academia, and civil society, and to promote knowledge transfer. Through this commitment, codecentric brings its long-standing expertise in software development and IT consulting directly into the digitalization of public administration.

An AI-supported study by Focus Money and Deutschland Test selected codecentric with 94.9 out of 100 points for 4th place among Germany's most innovative companies in 2025. Criteria evaluated included innovation activity, research & development, and technology. This award confirms codecentric's continuous commitment to innovative solutions and technological progress.
LinkedIn newsletter "beyond code{centric}" delivers compact practical knowledge
In July, the first issue of the new LinkedIn newsletter from codecentric AG was published. Under the name beyond code{centric} it has since been published once a month, dedicating each issue to a top topic from the tech industry. Introduced with an opinion piece from our board, the newsletter provides CxOs and decision-makers with important impulses for strategic decisions in the form of studies, specialist articles, podcasts, or blog posts (…).

codecentric launches open source GenAI platform
With the launch of the c4 GenAI Suite, codecentric released a new open-source platform for generative AI solutions in 2025. The c4 GenAI Suite enables companies to deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) flexibly, transparently, and in compliance with GDPR within their own organization – without vendor lock-in and with full control over data and models. The platform is individually customizable, quickly integrable, and supports companies in implementing their AI strategy independently and securely. As an open-source solution, the c4 GenAI Suite is available on GitHub and is accompanied by comprehensive consulting from codecentric.

In 2025, codecentric continues to rank among the leading mid-sized IT consulting and system integration companies in Germany and once again secures a place on the prestigious Lünendonk List. Despite challenging market conditions in the previous year, codecentric was able to impress through consistent innovation, a strong customer focus, and the expansion of its consulting portfolio to include future-oriented topics such as Generative AI, Digital Sovereignty, and Cloud Computing. The renewed placement on the Lünendonk List underscores the strong market position and the continuous commitment to the digitalization of the German economy.
codecentric named "GitLab Regional Partner of the Year 2025"
codecentric was recognized by GitLab as "Regional Partner of the Year 2025 for Central Europe." With this honor, GitLab recognizes codecentric's commitment and expertise in developing and implementing excellent GitLab solutions for companies. codecentric becomes a new member of the EHI Retail Institute
Since December 2025, codecentric has been a member of the EHI Retail Institute and thereby reaffirms its commitment to IT in retail, wholesale, and e-commerce. With many years of experience in numerous retail projects, codecentric supports retail companies in modernizing their software landscapes and implementing innovative data and AI solutions. Membership in the EHI enables even stronger networking within the retail community, setting practical impulses and driving digitalization and innovation in commerce together with other stakeholders.
Working together for a better future – the codecentric christmas donation 2025
In 2025, too, codecentric AG demonstrated its social commitment and corporate responsibility. Traditionally, at the end of the year we pool our efforts to do good together and set sustainable impulses – locally at our sites and across Germany.
As part of our annual Christmas donation, we are once again supporting three non-profit organizations that were proposed by our employees and selected by the board. This year, we are supporting projects dedicated to digital education, environmental and animal protection, and rapid assistance in emergency situations:
codiviti education: The initiative gives children between the ages of 6 and 14 – regardless of their background – creative access to the digital world, thereby promoting equal opportunities in education.
Mission Erde e. V.: The organization is committed to environmental and animal protection worldwide, raises awareness of important issues through modern media, and motivates people to take action themselves.
Jugendhilfeeinrichtung Hossenhaus Solingen: Following a fire in October 2025, we are supporting this evangelical children's and youth welfare facility in restoring destroyed care rooms and returning a sense of normality to the affected children and young people as quickly as possible.
